Solange in Michael Kors New Street-Style Campaign, The Walk

Solange Knowles is loved for her bold, colorful style that always seems to make a statement. Largely renowned designer Michael Kors has also jumped on the Solange bandwagon and has decided to use her for his new street-style campaign, The Walk.

“Solange is strong and passionate and not afraid to share her opinion with the world — and that type of confidence always makes an impact,” Kors told Billboard.

The stills were shot by street-style photographer Tommy Tons. The images, were captured in Manhattan’s West Village and Greenwich Village, according to Rap-Up Magazine. The photo show Solange strolling down the Manhattan streets in a green faux fur jacket, clutching a grey Michael Kors Brooklyn Large Grommet suede and leather crossbody purse.

Solange is not the only model that could be seen showcasing the first ever street-style campaign, according to USA Today. Tons also had the pleasure to photograph model Soo Joo Park and Nina Agdal, and Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece and Denmark.

Celebrity and royalty may have taken over the photoshoot but fans are able to join the campaign by wearing pieces of the street-style brand and tagging their photos with the hashtag #SidewalkSpotted for a chance to be featured on the campaign’s website.
