GoldieU Ultimate Musical Showdown

Goldie Sound Productions’ first-ever GoldieU Ultimate Musical Showdown is set to take place and is just days away. Friday, October 13, GoldieU is ready to make landfall, as this event is an excellent opportunity for some musical competition.

GoldieU is designed to shine a light on local college artists in the Tallahassee area. As submissions had closed, the top five were selected. St. Wallace, Slimvin, Dallas Aleea, Lucid Luunar, and Lil Dubble U were the top five artists that stood out to GoldieU. Some of these artists are up-and-coming, and this event is just what they need to put their name out there.

This event will not only show musical talents from different Tallahassee artists but also show soul-stirring melodies and even some surprises that will captivate the attention of audiences from start to finish.

Brandi Roman, the PR manager for this event, and Mycah Brown, the event organizer, are both very pleased and super excited about this showcasing event.

“Win a chance for free studio time. We are just as excited as you guys are,” Brown said.

Yes, that is correct. Here at GoldieU, artists can win free studio time at the event. All you have to do is perform, do your best to win over the crowd, and make a name for yourself. Lisa Perkins, a local Tallahassee resident, is thrilled for this event to happen.

“I follow Lil Dubble U on all platforms. I enjoy his music. I hope he wins it all. I will be attending this event in support of him,” Perkins said.

This event is made to celebrate the diversity and creativity of these artists. Goldie Sound Production has been around for many years and has dealt with some significant key artists, so in return, they want to land some new ones in Tallahassee. This is a one-of-a-kind event that will leave people to remember the names of those who hit the stage.

Tickets have been flying as the early birds got theirs, so if you need a ticket, please hit that link on the Goldiesound Instagram page bio. Feel free to DM the page or email brandi1.roman@famu.edu about ticketing. Myiah Jennings, a current FAMU student, shares her opinion on this event.

“I just recently started listening to some of these just-mentioned artists. So I am really excited to see what is in store for them because this is such a great opportunity for our urban black community,” said Jennings. “Free studio time and some face recognition are just what these artists and more people may need.”

So, make sure you follow the GoldieSound on Instagram for more information and updates regarding this GoldieU event. This event will take place at 1367 E Tennessee St, Tallahassee, FL 32308, and doors open at 6:00 p.m.

So, get there early, secure your seat, and most importantly, enjoy the unforgettable talents that will steal the showcase. See You all soon.
