What’s hate got to do with it?

Florida ranks second in the nation with 63 active hate groups, according to one of the main associations that tracks hate groups over the U.S. is the Southern Poverty Law Center, located in Montgomery, Alabama. This social liberties association has recognized more than 900 Hate groups across the nation, and it has a guide that pinpoints distinctive hate groups by city and state.
According to Southern Poverty Law Center, as of the year 2015 there are 193 Black Separatists groups. Black Separatists are essentially opposed to integration and interracial marriage, and they want separate institutions — or even a separate nation — for blacks. Most contemporary forms of black separatism are strongly anti-white and anti-Semitic, and a number of religious versions assert that blacks — not Jews — are the Biblical “chosen people” of God.
One of the more popular Black Separatist hate groups are known as The New Black Panther Party. The New Black Panther Party is a virulently anti-Semitic organization whose leaders have encouraged violence against whites, Jews and law enforcement officers.
Founded in Dallas 1989, but not active until 1990, the ‘NBPP’ has been notable for portraying itself as a militant, modern-day expression of the black power movement. Frequently engaging in armed protests of alleged police brutality, but with the foundation principles of the original Black Panther Party of the 1960s and 1970s. A militant, but non-racist, left-wing organization that has rejected the new Panthers as a “black racist hate group” and contested their hijacking of the Panther name and symbol according to Southern Poverty Law Center.
The NBPP’s official website provides a “10 Point Platform,” which is a takeoff on the 10-point platform of the original Black Panther Party, the NBPP demands that blacks “must be given reparations. The American white man owes us reparations. England owes us reparations. France owes us reparations, Spain and all of Europe. Africa owes us reparations and repatriation. The Arabs owe us reparations. The “Jews” owe us reparations. They also demand that all black prisoners in the United States be released to “the lawful authorities of the Black Nation.”
The SPLC reported an open letter from the Dr. Huey P. Newton Foundation, which is run by members of the original Black Panther Party, and decries the new Black Panther Party for being a hateful and non progressive group.
The new Panther party continues to demonstrate extremist behavior in protest for what they believe is right.
